Toontrack knowingly scammed me despite knowing I have less than $50/month after a stroke. I made an error, but they did everything possible to keep the $29 I lost. That support guy was the worst of the worst.

EZ Bass is a gimmick. It takes way more steps than to just record a real bass and a real bass is cheaper. I ordered it and it’s junk. I can’t even get a refund.

The Synth Bass EBX came out today

I bought this today, and it has to be the most deeply sampled expansion they’ve ever done. Almost 13 gigs with all velocity layers for a single kit, not a bunch of room mics, and the hi-hats finally sound genuinely real. This expansion is gold.

You guys are nailing these UA-cam shorts! Great snippets of the product in action. You should cover all your sdx’s and ezx’s in this format, showcasing 5 or six kits.

Crazy...it did everything but demo the actual sounding drums..what a weird promo video. Lol..

With this great loss of Steve Albini, I couldn’t help myself to turn on my PC to play this package with EZD2 (I haven’t upgraded to 3 yet). Else, I keep on listening his works both as a musician and a recording engineer. I also keep on watching vids of his interviews on his thoughts as a recording engineer.

If any of the PMs are reading the comments, if you could do a modern RnB / Neo-Soul / Funk kit, this would be all I need and could use SD3 exclusively!

Having trouble programming the high hat settings with the new alesis strata prime kit. Everything triggered and learned fine except for the high hat. After programming a tight closed hit, we hit learn for open hat sound and then it loses the closed hat. Is it the module or something not programmed correctly?

Those brushes sound ridiculously good! Amazing job!

I think I was the first one to buy this. I just happened to be looking at my email account when it came in to my inbox. I clicked it and bought it as fast as humanly possible. These kits are unbelievabley good sounding. I have all the SDX kits but this is my favorite.

Never mind jazz; I've put four of these cymbals, a cowbell and the woodblock on my virtual kit, and I play punk/metal.
